Product Overview
ESBO (Epoxidized Soybean Oil) is a biologically derived epoxide produced by the controlled oxidation of soybean oil. It functions as a co-stabilizer and secondary plasticizer in PVC, scavenging the HCl released during PVC thermal processing. It is particularly valued in food-contact and medical-grade PVC for its low toxicity and regulatory compliance.
Vestra supplies ESBO from certified manufacturers meeting international food-contact and PVC stabilization standards.
